Meet the Team

Dr. Alberto Castiel is a Board Certified Family Physician. He is originally from New York City and trained at the University of Florida. He has been in practice for 20 plus years and treats wide variety of illnesses and conditions. Dr. Castiel is also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at the University of Florida School of Medicine, Florida State University School of Medicine , and Nova Southeastern University School of Physician Assistants.He has a passion for all sports especially scuba diving which he says sparked his interest in hyperbaric medicine. He is fluent in both English and Spanish. The patients of The Back & Neck Institute are in incredibly qualified hands under the watch of Dr. Castiel.Motto to live by: What doesn’t kill me, had better start running.

Dr. John Marson is an Atlanta native who studied Biology at the College of Charleston. He went on to receive a Doctorate from Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine Carolinas campus receiving a service scholarship. He continued his training in Family Medicine and Osteopathic manipulation at Larkin Community Hospital in Miami, Florida where he also received fellowship training in Pain Medicine. Dr. Marson is double board certified in Family medicine and Pain medicine and a true believer in a whole mind, body spirit approach to medical care. He is passionate about providing precise healthcare catered to his patient’s needs and due to his extensive training has the ability to provide the gambit of treatments from manipulation to advanced interventions and everything in between. He is an experienced teacher and utilizes this to not only explain complex medical issues in an understandable way but provide education on conditions and optimize outcomes. Dr. Marson is an avid fisherman and Naturalist and enjoys spending time kayaking and golfing. He is also a talented painter.

Dr. Felix Ramirez is an anesthesiologist and has been affiliated with multiple hospitals before bringing his talents to North Florida Medical Center.He received his medical degree from Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine and has been in practice for more than 20 years.Dr. Ramirez also speaks multiple languages, including Spanish.

Nurse Practitioner Sherrye Kinnebrew is a nurse practitioner who specializes in acute and chronic pain, and pain relieving injections at North Florida Medical Center. She is also certified in aesthetic botox injection. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at the University of North Florida, and then earned her Master of Science degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She holds a dual certification with the American Association of Nurse Practitioners in Adult and Gerontology Primary Care. Sherrye grew up in Jacksonville Beach, and currently resides in Jacksonville, FL with her family. She enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, traveling, and going on cruises.

Nurse Practitioner Madison Kissel is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with experience in providing comprehensive care to patients across the lifespan to include pediatric patients. Madison specializes in both acute and chronic pain management, as well as pain relieving injections at North Florida Medical Center. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at the University of North Florida and then went on to earn her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Florida. She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Madison grew up in Jacksonville and currently resides in the beaches area. She enjoys surfing, scuba diving, and traveling with her two dogs in her free time.

Dr. Austin Mosley is a Board Certified Chiropractic Physician. He grew up in Sebring, Florida and graduated from Palmer Chiropractic College in Port Orange, Florida in 2013. He provides an effective, hands on approach to chiropractic care that is heavily based in functional restoration. He also has a strong interest in natural internal medicine and holistic primary care.At home he spends most of his time with his wife and three dogs. He enjoys going to the beach, to parks, and playing guitar.

Dr. Brown is a Doctor of Chiropractic, who studied exercise science at Carson Newman University and obtained his doctorate from Life University. Dr. Brown has spent years learning the dynamic function of the human body and how to correct it using spinal manipulative therapies and exercise. With experience as a Personal Trainer, Dr. Brown understands the benefits of improving movement to reduce pain. Dr. Brown’s post-graduate studies include applied clinical neuroscience, which he integrates into patient care in order to bring about the best possible outcomes for his patients. Through the lens of neurology, he gains a better understanding of his patients’ needs and is able to offer multiple treatment options. Dr. Brown is dedicated to finding and addressing the root cause of his patient’s pain through non-invasive techniques. In his spare time, Dr. Brown enjoys exercise, spending time with his family, and going to the beach.

Caroline Mckoy earned her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Athletic Training from Valdosta State University in May 2017 and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of North Florida in May 2023. She has received specialty training for treating pelvic floor and vestibular disorders. Caroline is passionate in assisting her patients by creating a functional plan of care, providing nutritional information, and addressing their mental health to help better their lives. In her spare time, Caroline enjoys fishing, hiking, listening to live music, and spending time with her loved ones.

Cassadi DeVane earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Florida International University in 2023 and her Bachelor of Science in Health Education and Behavior from The University of Florida in 2019. Upon graduating from physical therapy school, she has become certified in Kinematic Taping (KTCC). Cassadi enjoys working with patients of all ages and abilities to promote functional activities to help patients achieve their goals and maximize their potential. She is born and raised here in Jacksonville, Florida. Cassadi enjoys traveling to new places, going to the beach, staying active, and spending time with friends and family.

Courtnie Delpesche is a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant who enjoys working with the geriatric and neurologic population. She earned her Bachelors in Health Science from the University of Central Florida in 2018 then continued on to obtain her degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from Seminole State College of Florida in 2022. Courtnie believes that In physical therapy, as in life, patience is a virtue. Every step forward is progress, no matter how small. She loves to see her patients achieve their goals that before seemed unattainable. Courtnie was born in Westmoreland Jamaica and raised in the sunshine state. When she is not treating patients she enjoys trying new foods, visiting new countries and spending time with friends and family.

Stanley Turner is a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant with over 20 years of experience. He began his medical career in the Army in the mid 80’s. Stanley is a true patient oriented PTA with a hands on approach. He specializes in following patients throughout their rehab and educating the patients of Back & Neck Institute on the how and why behind every exercise we put them through. Stanley believes in treating each patient, not the condition. When Stanley is not treating patients, he is a beekeeper by trade and loves to dedicate time to fishing.Favorite Quote:“Don’t break anyone’s heart, they only have the one. Katy Swanda has worked the majority of her career as a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in orthopedic rehabilitation and enjoys working with a variety of patients. She worked as a certified personal trainer for four years and then went to obtain her degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant from the Florida State College at Jacksonville and graduated in 2023. Katy enjoys watching her patients progress throughout treatment and seeing them achieve improved quality of life. Katy was born and raised in Jacksonville FL. When not at work Katy enjoys being outdoors, playing with her dogs, and being active.
